The success of a school rests upon the success of its graduates. Graduates are ambassadors who, through their achievements in their professionals and their communities, bring honour to their alma mater. At CEIBS, alumni represent the most valuable asset and permanent members of the big family. The Alumni Association acts as an important channel to both serve these stakeholders and tap into this resource. It brings together graduates and industry leaders through organizing seminars, workshops, clubs, and reunions. Activities organized by the Association allow alumni to update their management knowledge, share experiences and insights, create business opportunities, maintain friendships, and pursue career development.
CEIBS boasts the largest alumni network among business schools in Mainland China. At the end of April 2008, the school's Alumni Association now represents over 7300 alumni of CEIBS and its predecessor CEMI, and increases its roster by roughly 1000 fresh graduates yearly. Alumni form a very strong element of the school community, and play a variety of roles in the development of the school. At the end of April 2008, the Alumni Association has established 26 regional chapters in and out of China. Meanwhile, in accordance with alumni's personal interests and career direction, 14 clubs have been founded in the past years.
